Reversible thermochromic pigment is prepared by electron transfer organic compound system. Electron transfer organic compounds are a kind of organic change system with special chemical structure. At a specific temperature, the molecular structure of the organic matter changes due to electron transfer, thus achieving color transformation. This color-changing substance is not only bright in color, but also can achieve color change from the “colored === colorless” state.

Product Description:
The pigment is powdery, with an average diameter of 2 to 7 microns (one micron is one thousandth of a millimeter). The inside is a color-changing substance, and the outside is a transparent shell about 0.2 to 0.5 microns thick that can neither dissolve nor melt, which protects the color-changing substance from erosion by other chemicals. Therefore, it is very important to avoid damaging this shell in use.

The basic type of temperature change
Temperature change color change colorless: basic color (colorless at high temperature, color at low temperature) when the temperature reaches the temperature range, the color disappears. Pantone card number or physical color palette is available. Temperature discoloration can change color with the rise and fall of temperature. (Taking 31℃ red as an example, the form of discoloration is colorless above 31℃, red below 31℃, reversible discoloration)
Conditions of use of thermochromic pigments:
Reversible thermochromic pigment itself is an unstable system (stability is difficult to change), so its light resistance, heat resistance, aging resistance and other properties are far less than ordinary pigments, which should be paid attention to in use.
The processing temperature should be controlled below 160-180 ° C, not more than 190 ° C, and minimize the heating time of the material. (High temperature, long time heating will damage the color-changing properties of the pigment).
