- The dosage of luminous powder is generally between 30% and 50%, and 150-degree luminous powder is generally used. The luminous powder is mixed with some transparent paints and coated on the ceramic surface. This way, there is no oxidation sintering process, so the luminous powder will not be damaged, but due to the paint, the ceramic will lose its original glaze effect.
- Use the long-acting luminous powder as a common pigment, and according to the time in the actual production process, choose the appropriate oily printing ink as an additive to fully stir (do not use a metal container to avoid blackening for a long time), and print with an 80-mesh screen after full fusion (pre-screening is more effective). If you want to shine strongly and for a long time, you can print it several times, and generally the effect is better for 2-3 times.
- If it needs to be mixed with frit or transparent glaze, the ratio of luminous powder to frit or transparent glaze is generally 1:1 or 6:4 or 6:10, which can be debugged according to the actual desired effect.
- The common problem of sintered finished ceramics is the appearance of bubbles, which is generally a problem in the combination of chemical stability between additives or frits and transparent glaze. The formula ratio can be changed or additives can be replaced, and defoamers can also be added to eliminate it.
