Ultraviolet fluorescent ink is currently the most mature anti-counterfeiting product on the market. It is made by adding corresponding visible fluorescent compounds to the ink. When printed with this ink, the patterns or text become invisible. However, they will show colors when exposed to ultraviolet light at 254nm/365nm wavelengths. This makes it convenient for anti-counterfeiting detection.
Depending on the effect, it can be classified as:
1. Colorless fluorescent ink (appearing colorless in appearance, showing a fluorescent effect under a 365nm ultraviolet light)
2. Colored fluorescent ink (It has a color appearance and retains its original color when illuminated by a 365nm ultraviolet light)
3. Color-changing fluorescent ink (appears one color in appearance, but shows a different fluorescent color under ultraviolet light)
4. Short wave (colorless in appearance, displaying patterns or text under a 254nm ultraviolet light)
5. Double Tone (The appearance of the ink is colorless after printing. It shows different colors at 365nm and 254nm respectively.)
